Harvest FestivalThis Harvest Fesitval guide provides details of the annual event that this year (2012) runs from September 24th to September 30th in the World of Warcraft. Harvest Festival is a celebration to commemorate the fallen heroes of the Alliance and Horde.

Harvest Festival Guide Shortcuts


Festival Food

Festival food is available free from tables setup outside Orgrimmar and Ironforge. You can carry up to 20 (1 stack) of each food type in your bags.


Harvest Festival Fireworks

The following fireworks can be purchased from Wagner Hammerstrike (Alliance) or Javnir Naskak (Horde).

Harvest Festival Quests

Honoring a Hero
This is the only quest available during Harvest Festival.

Alliance – The quest is available from Wagner Hammerstrike, who is located just outside Ironforge. You will receive Uther’s Tribute and be sent to Uther’s Tomb in Western Plaguelands to offer the tribute as a gift to the memory of Uther Lightbringer. Once complete, return to the questgiver to receive the book For the Light!.

Horde – The quest is available from Javnir Naskak, who is located outside Orgrimmar. You will receive Grom’s Tribute and be sent to Grom’s Monument in Ashenvale to offer the tribute as a gift to the memory of Grom Hellscream. Once complete, return to the questgiver to receive the book The Horde’s Hellscream

About 4 days after completing the quest you will receive the Bounty of the Harvest in the post. This item allows you to conjure harvest food after the festival is finished.
