WoW First Aid Guide 1-450

by Spiph

This WoW guide (up-to-date for patch 3.3) will cover training your First Aid levels from 1 to 450 and what to do while leveling First Aid in World of Warcraft. First Aid is a secondary profession, which means everyone can and should develop it, as it won’t limit what other professions your character trains in. The bandages created while training First Aid are useful in both PvE and PvP. All of the patterns for First Aid need to be learned from a First Aid Trainer of the appropriate level.

The majority of First Aid patterns require cloth which can be farmed from various mobs or bought from the Auction House (AH). If you looking for mobs to farm, then I would suggest following the links below for each cloth type. The links will take you to Wowhead, where you can view the ‘Dropped by’ table which will show you the percentage drop rate for various mobs.

Thanks
I guess getting to 450 is as painful as I feared. I have Heavy Frostweave, but it is yellow at like 410.

I stopped WoW and now I’m picking it back up. I guess you don’t have to do the quest in tharamore to heal the wounded soldiers anymore?

The quest is no longer required but can still be completed for 5550xp. The First Aid trainers will offer a lead-in quest worth 1400xp when your First Aid level reaches 225.
