Yes! The original World of Warcraft only lets you level professions to 300. Burning Crusade added levels 301-375, and Wrath of the Lich King added 376-450. Your profession levels will be restricted to whichever version of the game you are licensed for.

Do you have to have Wrath of the lich king to go higher than 375 in cooking? I can’t seem to find a grand master without having that expansion.

There are separate guides available for leveling cooking with fish recipes. Fishing and Cooking Guide 1-450 (Alliance) Fishing and Cooking Guide 1-450 (Horde) Leaving fish out of this specific guide was deliberate as many players can't be bothered with the time consuming process of leveling Fishing.

This is a great guide, but you left out the fish receipes. One of the biggest buff feasts is the fish feast at 450. I am looking for the low level fish receipes. Please add the fish receipes and it will be great.
